This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how SIA “Viss Veikaliem un Noliktavām” (hereinafter – the “Company”, “we” or “VVN”) processes the personal data of individuals (hereinafter – “you” or the “data subject”) through the website vvn.lv (hereinafter – the “Website”), and when you contact us by phone, e-mail or other means. When processing personal data, we comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), as well as the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia on data protection.

What Personal Data We Process

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:

identification data: first name, last name, company name and registration number (for legal entities and their representatives);
contact details: e-mail address, phone number, delivery and/or billing address;
order and transaction data: purchased items, order value, payment history (excluding full payment card details, which are processed solely by our payment provider, Stripe);
technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, visit statistics collected through cookies;
communication data: the content of your messages and correspondence with us;
marketing data: e-mail address for newsletter distribution, where you have consented to subscribe.

Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

placing and fulfilling orders, including delivery and payment — for the conclusion and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
customer service and communication — for the performance of a contract and our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR);
compliance with accounting and tax obligations — to fulfil a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR);
improving the Website and analysing user traffic (Google Analytics 4) — based on your consent or our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR);
targeted advertising on social media (Meta Pixel) — based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR);

Cookies

The Website uses cookies to ensure the Website functions properly, to improve the user experience and to analyse traffic. We use:

necessary cookies – provide core Website functionality (shopping cart, session, language selection) and are set without consent, as they are technically required;
analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) – allow us to analyse visitor behaviour and improve Website content; data is collected in an anonymised/aggregated form;

Recipients of Data and Disclosure to Third Parties

To achieve the purposes described above, your personal data may be disclosed to the following recipients (processors):

payment provider Stripe – for payment processing;
delivery service providers DPD, Latvijas Pasts and Omniva – for delivery of goods;
IT service providers (website hosting, cloud services) – to keep the Website operational;
Google (Google Analytics 4) and Meta (Meta Pixel) – for analytics and marketing purposes;
accounting and legal service providers – to fulfil legal obligations;
state and municipal authorities – where required by law.

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes without your consent.

Transfers Outside the EU/EEA

Some of the service providers we use (for example, Google, Meta, Stripe) may process data on servers located outside the European Union/European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). In such cases, the transfer is safeguarded through mechanisms recognised by the European Commission, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46 GDPR) or other appropriate safeguards.

Data Retention Periods

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the relevant purpose, or as required by law:

order and transaction data – 5 years following the transaction, in accordance with the Accounting Law’s requirements on retention of supporting documents;
communication data (customer support enquiries) – up to 3 years from the last contact;
marketing consent (newsletter) data – until consent is withdrawn;
cookie data – as set out in Section 4 above.

Upon expiry of the retention period, personal data is deleted or anonymised, unless otherwise required by law.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

access your personal data and information about its processing;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”), where a legal basis exists;
restrict processing in certain circumstances;
object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing;
request data portability;
withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Latvia, this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv), if you believe your rights have been infringed.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or other unlawful processing, including access controls, encryption of data in transit and regular security reviews.

We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. The current version of the Policy is always available on the Website. In the event of material changes, we will inform you through a notice on the Website or, where necessary, individually.
