ADverts – one of Latvia’s best-known full-cycle printing companies, with over 30 years of experience – faced a challenge typical of growing businesses: the existing warehouse space was no longer adequate for the company’s expanding production and logistics requirements. Building a new warehouse or relocating is not always the optimal solution; sometimes the capacity for growth can be found within the existing premises. For this reason, ADverts chose the two-storey warehouse solution offered by VVN – a mezzanine.
The ADverts warehouse is located in the company’s production facilities in Riga, at 124 Dzelzavas Street. The company needed to significantly increase its storage capacity – for both raw materials (paper, print consumables, packaging) and finished products – without expanding beyond the boundaries of the existing premises and without undertaking capital construction works. The VVN team was engaged to develop and implement a bespoke solution.
VVN specialists designed and installed a metal mezzanine structure – a two-level warehouse racking system that makes full use of the available ceiling height. The mezzanine effectively doubled the usable warehouse area without increasing the leased floor space.
The project included:
A mezzanine is the most cost-effective way to increase warehouse capacity without additional real estate expenditure. In ADverts’ case, the benefits were clear:
Following mezzanine installation, ADverts’ warehouse capacity was doubled without encroaching on production floor space. The storage system became more organised, logistics more efficient, and employees gained a comfortable, safe, and functional working environment across two levels. The project was delivered in full – from initial survey and design through to installation and final commissioning.
