Warehouse of 500 m², ceiling height 6 m, stored goods up to 3 m in length:

  • Available shelving area: 500 × 0.6 = 300 m²
  • Number of bays (3.0 × 0.8 m): 300 ÷ 2.4 = 125 bays
  • Possible levels (with 1.2 m level height): (6 − 0.5) ÷ 1.2 ≈ 4 levels
  • Total storage capacity: 125 × 4 = 500 bays
