In August, the VVN team successfully completed one of this year’s most significant projects – the supply and installation of professional retail equipment for the new TOP store at the Augusts shopping center in Pļavnieki. With a total area of 1,028 square meters, this is the most spacious TOP retail chain store in Riga to date, with investments exceeding one and a half million euros in its setup.
The project set high standards for both equipment quality and functionality. VVN specialists provided a complete set of retail equipment tailored to the store’s specific needs and modern customer requirements. Special attention was paid to equipping the fresh product departments, as this segment occupies a central place in the store’s concept.
Modern shelving systems were used in the store layout, ensuring optimal product placement and maximum efficient use of space. The shelves are adapted to the needs of various product categories – from canned goods and dry assortment to fruit and vegetable sections. Special solutions were developed for meat and fish sections, where professional equipment is needed for storing and presenting fresh products.
The VVN team also equipped the store’s confectionery and culinary departments, providing functional solutions for displaying freshly baked products and prepared foods. These departments are an essential part of the store’s identity, as the TOP chain takes pride in its on-site prepared products.
Modern systems were implemented in the checkout area setup, including both standard checkout equipment and self-service checkout solutions. This combination allows for fast and convenient service to different customer groups.
VVN also undertook all equipment delivery and professional installation, ensuring the store was ready for operation on time. Our experienced installers worked according to a precise schedule, observing all quality and safety standards. The installation process was carefully coordinated with other renovation and setup work to ensure a flawless result.
This project is yet another proof of VVN’s ability to implement large and complex retail space equipment projects.
